This used to just be a dream.

My favorite thing in the world is to share. I love to share my thoughts, I love to share my help, and I love to share my perspective. I also love to write. I feel the most at home when writing.

This website used to just be a dream. I created it back in 2021 as a placeholder for what could be. I created it at a time when I felt like I was drowning, and this was a split-second attempt to grab ahold of a floatation device.

I was in survival mode. Ironically I have been in that place for 36 years. I only escaped that state this year.

Today I sit here as a woman, a word I used to hate, that is 37 years 24 days 3 hours, and 9 minutes old.

For a while now, I have felt like I have so much to share with the world, and towards the end of the summer, I decided that it was time for me to take my place.

I didn’t know exactly what that looked like, but I felt ready.

So I started designing a website. Then I created an Instagram account, and almost two months ago, I created a podcast. I have been documenting this whole journey, and I finally accepted the fact that I should be leaning into my current profession as a path to who I teach and reach.

Some of you know this, while maybe others don’t, but I am a real estate agent, who recently got her broker license. I have owned a boutique real estate brokerage for almost 6 years in the North Houston Suburbs, and I have been a real estate agent for about 8 years. My brokerage is called Jo & Co., and a few years ago I started creating content to attract my dream client. I have since then made millions doing so. Now I am teaching others how to do what I have done because by doing so one can have a life of balance along the lines of “having your cake and eating it too”.

Right now I have a vlog paused in a browser, and I am working on updating this website. Mostly because I wanted to document some thoughts. But before I could write the blog post I came here to write, I needed to update the copy on the homepage, but then those original thoughts were forgotten, and these thoughts took their place. I felt I couldn’t update the home page, without an explanation to document the last year.

In August, I wrote this blog post, but that was when I was 36 (lol).

I have now published 26 podcasts (I just went to grab the link, and realized Spotify hates me because three episodes were published today instead of on the correct dates), and you can find, Omnipresence Marketing here (Apple Podcast) and here (Spotify ). You can also find them on YouTube here (playlist) and here (channel page).

They aren’t perfect, but they are me. I am proud of the commitment I am making, and I wanted to share it with you.

Well, I am off to finish updating the copy on the homepage.

Love ya. Hugs, Jo.
